- Divide the group of 6 people into 2 meteorologists, 2 tornado safety engineers, and 2 tornado historians
- Since there is only one computer, the teacher can print out the articles/links from the FEMA kids website
- The teacher should print out the articles on their own time. If they do not have access to a printer at their home, they can go to a library.
- Using the articles on FEMA each group could use the articles to do research on their different topics
- Have them meet back up as a group and have them discuss what they learned from each of the articles
- As a group using the video camera they can create a documentary on Tornado Awareness
- they will put together their documentary by using movie maker
